Time out. I'm a luke warm KY fan, from the "3 headed center days". What , the late 70's? (Dad went to high school with Wallace Jones)Wooden was great and I used to like the fact that KY had some KY kids playing and ran the floor, but once " I got a lead now the game is over" Dean came along, I began to want to watch paint dry. Had to respect Wooden and UCLA, really after he came to DRYDEN for a speech. Great guy, kids worked hard, ran the floor when they should, made the free ones or didn't play. Don't follow college b-ball much anymore, watched the Zags a little, not much of anyone else. Thought RP hurt KY more than he helped, even if he won. Catch a game on weekends if I happen to get one off. But I really have to snicker at all the rabid "Fans" decked out in colors that didn't go to whatever school. Gotta give vthokie22 credit for that, he does go to Tech. And to be honest, the best way for me to help the Vols is to talk about how they are gonna screw up. I coulda saved the game with a single post. I've been a UT fan since I was 5 or so years old. My parents hated sports and would never watch them but I found an orange team on when I was a kid and pulled for them ever since. I didn't go there but wish I had had the chance. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth so that option was out the window. LMAO" is more than a little moronic since I said point blank that they'd be in that 5-10 range. I guess that shoots a whole in the "all the Vols fans" part. They've also had a "decent record" for the last 3 years. This year though they have the athletes that UNC, Duke, and Arizona have recruited that can get by on more than just hard work.

They like UNC, Georgetown, Kansas, Duke, or any other team can get beat by any team on any night. If they're shooting lights out with Lofton and the 3-4 major players they have are playing hard and feeling it, they can beat anyone. They've went 7-1 against the two time National Champs. If that's so easy, maybe someone else should have tried it. They're not great, they're not the best team in the country, I just find them more fun to watch than most teams. My hopes are that they make the elite 8. If they do and lose by 50, I'll have had fun watching them this season. Maybe if I was a bandwagon fan who pulled for whoever was hot at the moment like Miami in football or UNC basketball, I could talk a lot of [censored] that meant absolutely nothing. I think this year I'll be an LSU fan in football. I guess I'll just jump on the UNC bandwagon or the Duke bandwagon like most folks on here have. On second thought, I think instead I'll just stick with the team I've pulled for for 25 years whether it's the 90's suckfest teams or the pretty good fast paced teams of the last few years. At least I can keep some kind of credibility.

Until I get to to know the person anybody who pulls for Duke/UNC/Cowboys/Yankees/etc are looked upon badly by me. I really only know about 5-6 true fans of those teams the rest just jump on the bandwagon.

Same deal . I'll tell you I'm an adopted dog, Dryden ain't around and Lee just has too many kids that would have had a chance to play something under the old formula. Keep them in sports and away from dope? It ain't guys like you, and part is just a lil ribbing. Not life and death. Hey, Tenn is ok by me, it is just hard not tell the truth. But the Vols do get out to the crowd , don't they? How many teams do that?

If that somehow came out as a sob story to you, that's [censored] tough I guess. The only part of my post that was directed at you was the "all the Vols fans". I'm not in with the people that apparently you're gizzing your pants over. I'm not nor would I ever say that they're going to win the NCAA tournament. I'd never say they can blow anyone out. I will say that they can beat anyne, that can be said for any NCAA team though. I've never had a problem with you and I appreciate some of the things you've tried to help me with in the past. If you want to get into a pissing contest with me the way you and PVFan did a while back, I'll just leave you with a thanks for trying to help me find a job a year ago and say I enjoyed the laughs since then. If there's some misunderstanding or something I did to get your dander up, maybe you can send me a pm and explain.

I really didn't have you in the "rabid" group. You know the guy with the flag and the mailbox, no real knowledge of sports. Have several college shirts myself, sorry if I hit a nerve. Guess you would have to work with some UK fans, perhaps to understand what I meant.
